Dylan Jow
Dylan Jow is a theoretical astrophysicist who works at the intersection of theory and observation. He is interested in problems where theory-motivated questions can help guide observational approaches. Current interests include using scattering and polarimetry of coherent radio sources (e.g. FRBs and pulsars) to probe the ionized component of the ISM and CGM on small scales. He is also broadly interested in the strong lensing of these sources. Dylan completed his B.Sc from the University of British Columbia (2018) and obtained his PhD at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Toronto (2024), before joining KIPAC as a Kavli Fellow.
