Eli Gendreau-Distler

Eli is a first-year Physics PhD student at Stanford. She is broadly interested in galaxies, cosmology, and the application of machine learning techniques to complex astronomical datasets. For her rotation project, she is working on forward modeling JWST photometry to constrain the intrinsic emission of PHANGS galaxies. Prior to Stanford, Eli completed a BA in Astrophysics, Physics, and Applied Mathematics at UC Berkeley.
