Giulia Murgia

Giulia is a Physics PhD student from Sardinia, Italy. She is broadly interested in the interstellar medium and its role in galaxy formation and evolution. She received her B.S. in Astrophysics from Caltech, where she worked on NASA’s SPHEREx mission, mapping diffuse dust emission across the Galactic plane and in nearby galaxies. In her free time, Giulia enjoys playing volleyball and going to the beach.
