Jaeyeon Kim
Jaeyeon is interested in the cycle of matter between gas and young stars in nearby galaxies. Using high-resolution and multi-wavelength observations from PHANGS, her research characterizes the time-scales associated with different phases of star-forming processes and how they vary in different environments. Jaeyeon is currently a Kavli Fellow at KIPAC/Stanford. Before this, she was at Heidelberg University (Germany) for her PhD (2019-2023) and at Yonsei University (South Korea) for her M.S. (2016-2018) and B.S. (2012-2016).
